Fronesis Advisory Consultancy

Investing in the DRC: minerals, real estate, agribusiness from due diligence to exit.

About Us

Fronesis is an advisory consultancy firm specialised in the DR Congo investment corridor that is built around the focus to bring documented, corridor-specific experience to every engagement rather than generic cross-border advisory capacity.

Fronesis advises investors, operating companies, and project sponsors on minerals, real estate, infrastructure, agribusiness, and land opportunities that require on-the-ground DRC market access combined with institutional-grade financial and transaction discipline.

Fronesis's differentiator is geographic and sectoral focus, not breadth. The firm concentrates on advisory work across three asset classes within the DRC corridor:

  • Minerals — investment due diligence, deal sourcing, and advisory anchored in DRC mining and resource assets

  • Real Estate & Infrastructure — transaction advisory across acquisition, disposition, and market entry

  • Agribusiness / Land — land-based investment structuring and exit advisory

Compliance and Integrity Standards

Fronesis operates through two legally separate companies. Fronesis LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, contracts with clients outside the DRC. Fronesis Advisory Sarl, a company registered in Kinshasa under DRC law, contracts with clients in the DRC and performs work that needs local registration. Where an engagement involves both, your engagement letter names the contracting company and any services the other will perform. Approvals, registrations and credentials described on this site belong to the company named alongside them.

Know your client. We verify the identity, ownership and source of funds of the parties to every engagement before work begins.

Sanctions and PEP screening. We screen clients, counterparties and local partners against international sanctions lists and for politically exposed persons.

Anti-corruption. We do not pay, offer or facilitate bribes or facilitation payments, and we decline mandates that require them. We apply the principles of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act to all our work.

Responsible sourcing. For mineral assets, our due diligence includes provenance and supply-chain checks aligned with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas.

Title and legal verification. We verify land and mining titles through the relevant registries and local counsel before you commit capital.

Conflicts of interest. We disclose any fee arrangement or interest in a transaction, in writing, before engagement.

Confidentiality. We work under NDA and handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy.
